The Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Our mission is to "serve all of the people of Humboldt County by promoting harbor use, enhancing recreational opportunities and protecting bay and tidal environments." The District was formed in 1973 by an act of the California Legislature and a Humboldt County Initiative to oversee port development and to stimulate commerce, but also to conserve the natural resources of Humboldt Bay. Candidates must possess a track record of demonstrated leadership, proven accomplishments and superior performance in management of large complex programs, dealing with government agencies on environmental permitting, grant acquisition, financial planning and budgeting and coordinating stakeholder involvement.

Salary: $90,000-$120,000, plus benefits
